Developed by RGG Studio, The Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. remaster will launch this winter for Windows through Steam, supporting rollback netcode and 4K visuals.

Sega published the "Virtua Fighter 5 Official Sound" album in July of 2012, currently available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. "Final Showdown Official Sound" adds music composed for the update introducing new characters stages, costumes, and animations.

Music from the fighting game is by Sega Sound Team participants Tatsutoshi Narita, Shinichi Goto, Fumio Ito, Tomoya Koga, and Naoyuki Machida. The Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. opening movie is streaming on YouTube, featuring vocals by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi.
