The first-person shooter by Ubisoft Montreal launched in 2013, following up on the developer's release of Far Cry 3. The neon-drenched tribute to old school videogames and VHS action movies is packed with over-the-top dialogue, 16-bit cut scenes, and glowing dragons with laser eyes.
Australian synthwave duo Powerglove’s nostalgia-fueled soundtrack rounds out the game’s retro-future aesthetic with a pulsing ‘80s-style music score. The 25-track soundtrack is hosted on Spotify, Amazon Music Unlimited, and the Ubisoft Music YouTube channel.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is also available for Xbox One and PS4 (included with PlayStation Plus Extra), along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
