Inspired by the cosmic horror of H.P. Lovecraft short stories and the Cthulhu mythos, The Sinking City launched in June of 2019. Set in the 1920's, private investigator Charles Reed explores the half-submerged city Oakmont, Massachusetts to get to the bottom of the city's descent into madness.
The horror game's open investigation system allows players to solve each case in a number of ways, triggering alternate endings depending on actions chosen. Reed collects an arsenal of weapons to fend off nightmarish creatures while exploring Oakmont on foot and by boat.
The Sinking City Remastered is currently available for Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 consoles. The Windows PC edition is on Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store.
