A direct prequel to Shovel Knight, the 2D roguelite platformer is set within The Well, a deep chasm dug by Drill Knight and his Hexcavators. Each downward-digging trip presents the player with fresh, procedurally generated levels. Between attempts, Shovel Knight can visit the Hoofman and other vendors to purchase wares to assist with excavation.
The Original Soundtrack by Jake Kaufman is hosted on Bandcamp and Steam, with streaming on Apple Music, Spotify and Youtube Music. Shovel Knight Dig is also available for Nintendo Switch. The Windows PC edition is on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
