Untold Adventure is in development at Commodore Industries, creators of anti-gravity racing game Millennium Runners, with the collaboration of BitoBit and publisher Over The Game. A teaser trailer is streaming on the company's YouTube channel.
The Newzealand Story first arrived in arcades in 1988, and was ported to PC Engine 36 years ago, on this date. The developer's love letter to New Zealand stars Tiki the kiwi and involves guiding the bird protagonist through a variety of perilous mazes, often riding balloons and dirigibles, to rescue caged friends.
In 1991, Software Creations in Manchester, England localized a home console port for the Nintendo Entertainment System, retitled "Kiwi Kraze" in North America. The NES port features chip music arrangements by Tim Follin and Geoff Follin.
Hamster Corporation published Arcade Archives The Newzealand Story in 2023, available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles. The Original Soundtrack by Yasuko Yamada, Hisayoshi Ogura, and Yasuhisa Watanabe of Zuntata is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
