Developer Namco's 3D fighting game arrived in arcades in 1994. The intuitive control scheme assigns each of the four action buttons to a separate limb of the player character competing in the King of Iron Fist Tournament.
Arcade Archives 2 Tekken leverages variable refresh rate (VRR) support for for greater stability and smoother visuals, providing a closer approximation of the original arcade game. As with other Arcade Archives 2 console ports, the game supports separate game modes apart from "Original Mode." "High Score Mode," "Caravan Mode," and a new "Time Attack Mode" are also included.
Record label Bandai Namco Game Music previously released Tekken Original Soundtrack, composed by Yoshie Arakawa and Yoshie Takayanagi. The 30-track album is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
The 180-gram heavyweight vinyl publication, spanning both the arcade soundtrack and PlayStation score, ships on audiophile-quality, ships from publisher Laced Records and distributor PixelCrib in Australia. Original artwork for the album is by DXSinfinite (Samuel Donato). Excerpts from the remastered soundtrack are streaming on SoundCloud.
