Victor Entertainment's Xenosaga Episode II Movie Scene Soundtrack debuted in July of 2004. The reissue by animation-related subsidiary Flying Dog premiered late last month in Japan, available for shipping on two compact discs from distributors CDJapan and Playasia. The digital edition, spanning 40 music tracks, is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. Excerpts of each track are previewed on the Flying Dog official website.
Earlier this year, the first installment in the Xenosaga trilogy received an officially licensed piano collection album, published by Wayô Records. Across the Kosmos: Xenosaga Piano Collection is comprised of acoustic arrangements of composer Yasunori Mitsuda's music from Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht. Piano is performed by Benyamin Nuss, with album art by Kiyoshi Arai.
