Square Enix Jazz: Chrono Trigger, arranged and performed by Eijiro Nakagawa and Ryu Kawamura, is now available for streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. The compact disc release ships from distributors CDJapan and Play-Asia.

The fifth installment in the Square Enix Jazz album series centers on jazz pieces reinterpreting music compositions by Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu from the Super Nintendo role-playing game. The arranged tracks include the "Chrono Trigger" theme, along with character themes for Frog, Lavos, Robo and Schala.

The arrangers performed "Wind Scene" during the TGS 2021 Online event, accompanied by a live painting by album series illustrator NOVOL. The band was comprised of Ken Higeshiro on drums, Takana Miyamoto on piano, Naoto Suzuki on guitar, and Masato Honda on saxophone.
