Sony Computer Entertainment's Ape Escape 3 launched on July 14th of 2005 in Japan. The 3D platformer for PlayStation 2 features music by Fantavision series composer Soichi Terada.

Record label Cartridge Thunder published Ape Escape 3 Originape Soundtracks in a Box (4XLP), also shipping from distributor PixelCrib in Australia. Remastering for vinyl is by Justin Perkins of Mystery Room Mastering. Music is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.

Ape Escape, also featuring music by Terada, is part of the PlayStation Plus Premium collection of classic game titles. Enhanced for PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, the modern console port is enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

Ape Escape 3 was originally released in 2005 (Japan), and its moviemaking pipos were unleashed across the rest of the globe in 2006. The game features two new protagonists (Kei and Yumi) who battle the Freaky Monkey Five, underlings of the nefarious Dr. Tomoki and the evil monkey Specter.
