Resident Evil HD Remaster for Windows joins the GOG Preservation Program
Resident Evil HD Remaster is now part of the GOG Preservation Program. The Origins Bundle also includes Resident Evil 0 DRM-free, with no activation or online connection required to play.

Music by Capcom Sound Team for the 2002 high-definition remaster is included in the Sound Chronicle Best Track Box, streaming on Apple Music and Spotify. Laced Records published the Resident Evil (2002) deluxe double vinyl soundtrack, featuring music from the third-person survival horror game for Nintendo GameCube. The album features 44 music tracks composed by Masami Ueda and Makoto Tomozawa.

Capcom's high-definition remaster is also available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles. The PC edition is hosted on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
