3D remake of Myst to launch for PlayStation 5 & PS VR2 on May 19th
The modern 3D remake of Myst, developed in Unreal Engine for both standard and VR modes, will launch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 on May 19th.

The graphic adventure puzzle game was developed by Cyan, Inc. and published by Broderbund in 1993. The console port of Myst is available for PS4 and PlayStation 5 as part of the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics Catalog.

The remake is currently available for Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC and Mac through Steam and GOG, along with Meta Quest 2 & 3 VR platforms. The digital soundtrack, remastered in 2021 by composer Robyn Miller, includes three previously unreleased demo tracks that were composed for Myst VR, but not included in the game.

A collection of experimental sketches, "Lost Tracks, Pt. I - Myst," is hosted on the musician's Bandcamp page.

From the Steam product page:
Welcome to Myst: a starkly beautiful island, eerily tinged with mystery and shrouded in intrigue. Built from the ground up to play in 2D & VR, explore Myst in a whole new dimension! Journey to the Ages, unravel puzzles, and be a part of the surrealistic adventure that will become your own.
