Jalecolle Famicom Ver. Shatterhand announced for Nintendo Switch
Publisher City Connection has announced Jalecolle Famicom Ver. Shatterhand, planned for release for Nintendo Switch consoles in September, via the Nintendo eShop. The port of the Nintendo Entertainment System game with added quality-of-life features will be playable on the show floor of the Tokyo Game Show on September 17th through the 21st.

Sci-fi action game Tokkyū Shirei Solbrain launched in October of 1991 for the Nintendo Famicom. The English-language localization, titled Shatterhand, arrived in North America later that year. Music for the sidescrolling action game is composed by Iku Mizutani, with sound effects by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki. The sound team more recently collaborated on NatsumeAtari's Shadow of the Ninja - Reborn soundtrack.

The Jalecolle Famicom Ver. series showcases Jaleco Famicom games with English-language pop-up messages displayed during key story and gameplay moments. Other features include rewind function, quick save and load, and a package design and instruction manual gallery.
