The latest fighting game from SNK features a unique art style, combining accessible controls with strategic depth. In addition to Arcade Mode, “Episodes of South Town” solo RPG mode lets players explore South Town and engage in story-driven battles. Utilizing the REV System, fighters can chain REV moves into powerful follow-ups and supercharged attacks.
SNK previously released the similarly titled Original Video Game Soundtrack through streaming platforms. The 35 included tracks features additional stage music from Season 1 created in collaboration with world-class DJs and producers. They include Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Alok, R3HAB, and Salvatore Ganacci, among other artists.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available for Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Original music is composed by Hideki "sha-v" Asanaka, Naoki Kita, Minori Sasaki, Yu Shimoda, Mayuko Hino, Fuga Yamahata, Akira Sakamoto, and Rei Wako.
From the Steam page:
SNK’s beloved Fatal Fury series first hit the market in 1991, spearheading the fighting game boom of the 1990s that swept the industry thereafter. GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES (released in 1999) has, for some time, served as the franchise’s most recent installment. But that is all about to change: 26 years on, a brand-new entry—FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves—is set to arrive on the scene!Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Original Soundtrack - Apple Music / YouTube Music
