Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster is now available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles, along with Windows via Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.

The graphical remaster of the Nintendo 3DS role-playing game with quality-of-life updates features art by character designer Akihiko Yoshida. Retaining the original title's varied job system, players can employ varied abilities in battle from over twenty different jobs—from knight and mage, to monk and ninja.


Turn-based battles center on the option between offensive "Brave" commands, consuming brave points, and "Default" maneuvers to shore up defenses. HD Remaster integrates a redesigned user interface and two different varieties of new minigames, while the fast forward option increases battle and event scenes up to 4X speed. Encounter rate settings can also be varied manually.

Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster previously launched for Nintendo Switch 2. Music is by Revo of Japanese fantasy rock band Sound Horizon. The "Bravely Default Flying Fairy Recorded Journey" vinyl ships from the Square Enix store for North America. The 46-track digital album is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited.
