Developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo, the Switch 2 edition is playable in 4K resolution in TV mode, with full HD in handheld mode at 60 frames per second. Starting today, fully voiced Heart-to-Heart conversations are available for the first time. The Switch 2 edition also adds a new Ether Jet vehicle for fast traversal.
Xenoblade Chronicles debuted for Nintendo Wii in June of 2010, and was ported to the Nintendo 3DS portable console in 2015. Music for the game is by Yoko Shimomura, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Manami Kiyota, in collaboration with TOMOri Kudo, Kenji Hiramatsu, and CHiCO of ACE.
The Definitive Edition Original Soundtrack ships from distributors CDJapan and Playasia, pressed on five compact discs. The album contains 99 music tracks in total, with 54 arrangements unique to the Nintendo Switch remaster and eight original compositions from the "Future Connected" epilogue.
