Konami's scrolling shoot-em-up TwinBee launched for the Nintendo Famicom console 38 years ago, on this date.

TwinBee is currently available for Nintendo Switch Online, featuring music by Shigeru Fukutake and Yoshinori Sasaki of the Konami Kukeiha Club. TwinBee, Stinger, and TwinBee 3: Poko Poko Daimaō's Famicom soundtracks will be bundled in "Music From Konami Antiques" Vinyl Vol.5, scheduled for release on March 27th in Japan.

Preorders have opened at distributor Light in the Attic in Seattle. The compact disc box set, containing game scores from 44 Nintendo Famicom titles, ships domestically from distributors CDJapan and Play-Asia.
