Commemorating the 10th anniversary of launch, Black Screen Records in Europe has opened preorders for This War of Mine's vinyl soundtrack album. The single LP, pressed on classic black vinyl, is mastered by Chris Bethge.

Composer Piotr Musiał cites Hollywood film scores of the 1980's as a significant influence. He told the record label, "This War of Mine was one of those projects, where picking up an electric guitar and playing on it felt like a good idea, although I'd never done it before. It gave the music this unpolished character - it's rough around the edges to match the grim atmosphere of the game."

The soundtrack album is hosted on the publisher's Bandcamp page, with streaming on Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited.


11 bit studios published the survival-themed strategy game in November of 2014. Set in the fictional city of Pogoren, Graznavia, the story is inspired by modern-day conflicts such as the prolonged blockade of Sarajevo in the 1990's. The player monitors between one and four civilians, taking strategic actions to protect their vitals until a ceasefire is declared.

Musiał's scores for 11 bit studios titles includes society survival strategy games Frostpunk, and Frostpunk 2, as well as the upcoming science fiction title The Alters. This War of Mine is currently available for iOS and Android devices, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, along with Windows, Mac, and Linux through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.com.
