The Sinking City 2 for Nintendo Switch 2 planned for release in 2027
Developer Frogwares has announced the Nintendo Switch 2 port of The Sinking City 2, scheduled for release in 2027. The third-person survival horror game, running on Unreal Engine 5, is set in the fictional location of Arkham, Massachusetts in the late 1920s.

In the wake of a supernatural flood, players control investigator Calvin Rafferty on a quest to rescue the woman he loves, Faye Bennett. Players are challenged with fending off Slither-possessed corpses while managing inventory and solving environmental puzzles.

Rising floodwater changes how Rafferty navigates abandoned streets and other water-worn locations. In his pursuit to rescue Faye, he will be drawn into the depths below Arkham.

The Sinking City 2 is currently available for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles. The Windows PC edition is published via Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store, with the digital soundtrack DLC available for purchase separately.

The Original Soundtrack spans 42 music tracks, written by The Sinking City co-composer Viacheslav Pakalin, in collaboration with Roman Savytskyi. Oleksandr Danylenko is credited for additional contributions to music and sound in the end credits.

A Lovecraftian score for 1920s Arkham: period timbres, restrained percussion, and an undertow of dread that accentuates ritual, rescue, and the pull from below.
