The SQ Chips 2 chiptune arrange album treats classic Square themes to 8-bit variations, originally published on compact disc in July of 2012. Cover illustration is by Atsushi Ohkubo. Featured arrangements include Final Fantasy Tactics "Prologue Movie" and LIVE A LIVE "Live for Live," arranged by Sexy-Synthesizer under the alias (S_S).
"TOBAL No.1 ~ Hills of Jugon" features arrangement and performance on melodion, piano, and percussion by BOKKADENcI. "The Girl Who Stole the Stars ~ Fragments of a Dream" from Crono Cross is arranged by Hidekazu Tanaka of music production studio Monaca. "Mid Boss Battle" from Bahamut Lagoon is reinterpreted as chip music by Kplecraft.
