Developed by Project Soul, weapon-based fighting game Soulcalibur IV launched in July of 2008 for PlyStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, featuring guest characters guest characters Darth Vader and Yoda from Star Wars.

Music for the game is composed by Junichi Nakatsuru, Keiki Kobayashi, Hiroyuki Fujita, and Masaharu Iwata. The 65-track album is now available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. The launch trailer is streaming on Bandai Namco's YouTube channel.
