In search of the missing Chaos Emeralds, Sonic is stranded on the archipelago of Starfall Islands. Players race at high speeds across a tropical open-zone setting teeming with curious wildlife, while exploring the scattered ruins of an ancient technological civilization.
The enhanced port offers improved graphics and performance over the Nintendo Switch edition, bundling the base game with the "Final Horizon" story campaign, post-launch content updates, digital art book and soundtrack EP.
Digital soundtrack "Stillness & Motion" and expansion soundtrack "Paths Revisited" are streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. A "Making the Music" behind the scenes with Sonic Sound Director Tomoya Ohtani can be viewed on Sega's YouTube channel.
Sonic Frontiers is also available for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X/S consoles. The Windows PC edition is on Steam and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
