Developer Abylight Barcelona has released submarine simulator S.O.N.A.R., with support for 1–6 player online co-op. The main theme by the game's executive music producer Alberto J. González can be viewed on the Abylight YouTube channel.

The career of the musician, often credited as “Joe McAlby,” spans three decades and includes work on classic European games, including North & South (ZX Spectrum), The Smurfs (NES), Tintin in Tibet (Game Boy), and Asterix & Obelix (SNES), among many other titles.

The composer comments, via Steam, "To compose the main theme for S.O.N.A.R., I started from clear requirements set by the creative director: the music needed to convey a certain element of tension, in line with the nature of the game. However, I always find it difficult to resist the temptation of creating a catchy melody."

S.O.N.A.R. Submarine Operators Not Actually Ready is available for Windows PCs via Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.

From the Abylight Studios official website:
S.O.N.A.R. is a 1–6 player online co-op submarine simulator where teamwork is essential, panic is inevitable, and sinking is always just one wrong button away. Coordinate with your crew, use sonar to detect threats, and operate a cutting-edge submarine through combat operations, stealth infiltrations, and treasure recovery missions. Repair catastrophic malfunctions, recalibrate complex systems, and desperately hope that the person sitting next to you isn't just randomly pressing buttons.
