Skull and Bones: Faction Wars Original Game Soundtrack debuts on Spotify
Ubisoft Music has published the Skull and Bones: Faction Wars Original Game Soundtrack by Stephen Lukach, featuring composition by Christopher Carmichael on "Closing the Distance" and "Among the Wolves."

The naval online action role-playing game invites players to sail the Indian Ocean on a customizable pirate ship, either in single-player or co-op play. Faction Wars was introduced as a Year 2 live-service update, launched mid-2025, exploring the escalating conflict between French (Compagnie Royale) and Dutch (DMC) trading companies.

Lukach previously composed music for the Special Ops mode in Far Cry 6. The composer's Skull and Bones: Rise of the Kingpins score, from the post-launch live-service content, is also available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music Unlimited, and the Ubisoft Music YouTube channel.

Skull and Bones for PlayStation 5 is included in the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog, also available for Xbox Series X|S consoles. The Windows PC edition is hosted on Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Tensions across the Indian Ocean have reached breaking point, following Commodore Jonas Vanderkill's capture of the previously-Compagnie controlled Megafort. War is on the horizon and pirates are set to profit: for aligning with a warring faction grants access to elite tactics, and powerful equipment.

Now is the time to decide! Will it be an alliance with the Compagnie or the DMC? You need not be loyal, of course. But just enough, to get your hands on profits. The objective is clear, Captains: capture territories. Advance the war in your factions' favour. Then reap the benefits, and rewards.
