Laced Records has published Sid Meier's Civilization V Original Game Soundtrack via Bandcamp, with streaming available through Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. Published in collaboration with Take-Two Interactive Software, the album includes 102 music tracks from the turn-based strategy game launched in 2010.

Music for the game is composed by Geoff Knorr, Michael Curran, and Ian Smith, featuring orchestral music portraying the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East during historical time periods. The launch trailer is streaming on the Sid Meier's Civilization YouTube channel.


In 2014, Knorr gave a presentation at the Firaxicon convention, together with associate lead audio designer Griffin Cohen, on music and sound from 'From Civ V to Beyond Earth.' The recording can be viewed on the franchise's official YouTube channel.

Developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games, Civilization V is currently available for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems, through Steam.
