Developed in collaboration with Xeen Inc., Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven launched for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, along with Windows through Steam. The overview launch trailer and "Making of the Game's Music" behind-the-scenes can be viewed on the publisher's YouTube channel.
Through the Inheritance System, the player can select successive Emperors and pass down imperial powers through the generations. At the Imperial University in-game location, players can take part in imperial exams to gain crafting materials, or stream original and arranged music in the Odeum.
Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven Original Soundtrack ships on two compact discs from the Square Enix store for North America and Europe, along with distributor CDJapan. Excerpts of all tracks are streaming on the official album website.
