Resident Evil 2 (1998) for Windows has launched through GOG, adding new rendering options and full support for modern controllers. Play as Leon Kennedy, a rookie cop clocking in his first day on duty, or follow Claire Redfield as she searches for her missing brother.

Laced Records previously published the third-person survival horror game's deluxe double vinyl soundtrack, pre-mastered for vinyl by Joe Caithness. Music for the Sony PlayStation game, starring rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield, is composed by Masami Ueda, Syusaku Uchiyama and Syun Nishigaki.

The 31-track digital soundtrack by Capcom Sound Team is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
