Bloober Team has announced Cronos: The New Dawn, slated for release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows through Steam. The aesthetic of the third-person survival horror game is described as "Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology."
The storyline is described on the newly-introduced the Steam product page. "The Change" is known as a cataclysmic event that fundamentally altered the fate of humanity. The player takes on the role of a Traveler, tasked with traveling back to 1980s-era Poland and extracting individuals who perished in the apocalypse, using a tool called the "Harvester."
A "twisted time travel story," Cronos: The New Dawn can be added to wishlists on Steam. The reveal trailer can be viewed on the developer's YouTube channel.
