The "ARBAN" music culture website has published an interview in English and Japanese with Miyashiro. The article includes embedded preview demo tracks, reinterpreting songs "Whims of Fate" and "Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There."
The live event series is inspired by the jazz fusion arrangement of "Last Surprise" by Jonah Nilsson of the band Dirty Loops, co-arranged by Button Masher. Published via Bandcamp, the arrangement is included in "Album 4 - Game Changer" by The 8-Bit Big Band. The album is arranged and produced by Charlie Rosen, mixed by engineer John Kilgore, and mastered by Alan Silverman.
Music for the turn-based role-playing game is composed by Shoji Meguro, Toshiki Konishi, Ryota Kozuka, Atsushi Kitajoh and Kenichi Tsuchiya, recorded in collaboration with Atlus Sound Team. The digital soundtrack is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited.
From the product page:
The soundtrack is equally epic, featuring hours of jazzy, poppy, energetic musical magic that you’ll find yourself unconsciously whistling throughout the day. From upbeat vocally-driven songs (many featuring the incomparable throaty gusto of Japanese soul singer, Lyn Inaizumi) to more contemplative, instrumental riffs - it’s an impressive ensemble of tunes.ARBAN - Persona 5 Special Big Band Concert
