Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse Original Soundtrack debuts on Steam
Square Enix has published 'Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo and The Mermaid's Curse Original Soundtrack,' premiering today in Japan. The album ships on two compact discs from the Square Enix store for North America and Europe, featuring 39 music tracks composed by Hidenori Iwasaki.

Original art is by character designer Gen Kobayashi, who previously collaborated with director and scenario writer Takanari Ishiyama on mobile game Schoolgirl Strikers. Both albums are hosted on Steam, with excerpts of all tracks streaming on digital music store Ototoy.

The soundtrack trailer can be viewed on the Square Enix YouTube channel, featuring orchestrator Natsumi Kameoka and bassist Ryu Kawamura.

In "The Seven Mysteries of Honjo," players seek out and converse with suspicious characters, investigating clues surrounding seven urban legends. For the setting, the developer partnered with the Sumida City Tourism Division to photograph scenery from the neighborhood in Tokyo, using a 360-degree camera to provide a detailed environment to explore.

"The Mermaid's Curse" unfolds in Ise-Shima, a region rich in mermaid legends. Both visual novels are available for Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices, and Windows via Steam.
