The latest installment in the Katamari Damacy action-puzzle game series invites players to follow the Prince through different historical eras, collecting objects across the Jurassic period, Ice Age, and historic Japan. Bandai Namco Entertainment will publish Once Upon A Katamari Original Soundtrack, scheduled for release on December 17th on three compact discs.
Music for the game is composed by Yuu Miyake, Taku Inoue, AJURIKA, Shogo Nomura, mifumei, Asuka Sakai, Yoshihito Yano, Mei Osawa, and Mitsuhiro Kitadani, with Monaca studio composers Shotaro Seo, Keiichi Hirokawa, Kakeru Ishihama, Oliver Good, and Satoru Kosaki.
Once Upon A Katamari will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows through Steam. The King of All Sounds Edition includes the base game, 60 music tracks from past series entries, and 26 classic costumes.
