Nihon Falcom's Brandish 2: The Planet Buster launched for the NEC PC-98 personal computer in 1993. Koei published the Super Famicom port of the dungeon crawler on August 11th of 1995.

King Record pressed the soundtrack album by Falcom Sound Team on compact disc, decorated with cover illustration by Front Mission 2 character designer Jun Suemi. The 40-track album is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube Music platforms.
