Metaphor: ReFantazio Original Soundtrack, including 130 music tracks pressed on five compact discs, is scheduled for release on January 15th in Japan. A fifteen-minute crossfade trailer is streaming on the Atlustube YouTube channel.
The documentary filmmakers at Archipel released "A Metaphor in Fantasy," available for streaming with English-language closed-captioned subtitles, via YouTube. A few months prior to release, Archipel met with Metaphor: ReFantazio designers Katsura Hashino, Shigenori Soejima, and Shoji Meguro to discuss their approach to creating the pillars of Euchronia and the Metaphor universe.
The Special Soundtrack, composed by Meguro, is hosted on streaming platforms, published by Atlus Game Music. The album spans 61 music tracks, featuring Glory Chorus Tokyo. Vocal performance is by Keisuke Honryo, chief priest of Myōjōji temple in Kanagawa.
The fantasy role-playing game, overseen by Hashino, the Studio Zero director known for Catherine: Full Body and other Atlus game titles, features character designs by Soejima. Metaphor is currently available for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, along with Windows through Steam.
The Collector's Edition box set includes the Atlus 35th Anniversary Digital History Book + Digital All-Time Best Soundtrack.
