Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's action-adventure game launched on February 21st. The spin-off title finds Goro Majima shipwrecked on an island, as he struggles to regain his lost memories. In hand-to-hand combat, Majima can swap between “Mad Dog” and “Sea Dog” fighting styles. While leading a band of treasure-seeking pirates, the former yakuza leads real-time cannon battles against cutthroat criminals.
Sega previously published the Captain Majima EP, comprised of vocal tracks performed by voice actor Hidenari Ugaki. "The Sun at 35.6°C," "Midnight Desire," and "The Goro Pirates Theme" are paired with corresponding with instrumental tracks. The EP composed by Saori Yoshida, Ryo Fukuda, and Yuri Fukuda is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii is currently available for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. The Windows edition on Steam is verified for use with the Steam Deck.
