Developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker launched on this date in 2010. Set one decade after Operation Snake Eater, the mercenary unit Militaires Sans Frontières led by Big Boss encounters mysterious armed group setting up a base of operations in Costa Rica.
The Metal Gear 25th Anniversary music compilation includes a Peace Walker Medley by Nobuko Toda, along with "Metal Gear Saga," "Here's To You" and "Heavens Divide" from Metal Gear Solid 4. The Guns of the Patriots soundtrack preceded the launch of director Hideo Kojima's tactical espionage action title, currently available for streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.2 will launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles, along with Windows PC through Steam. The included Digital Screenplay Book contains the full text of all cutscenes, signature radio conversations and briefing files. The Digital Master Book selects memorable quotes from the Metal Gear saga, and provides practical gameplay tips.
