The Legacy Collection's new arrangements are by Shigeyuki Kameda, Hana Kimura, and Yuna Hiranuma, also available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. Termed "Kizuna Re:mix tracks," the naming convention is derived from a central theme of the series. Allies form bonds (Kizuna), reflected in their Link Power stat (Kizuna Ryoku).
"Experience the arranged soundtrack of the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection," reads the Steam product page. "Featuring pulse-pounding rock tracks that amplify the thrill of battle, ambient electronic pieces that evoke a bond with the cosmos, and moving piano and orchestral compositions, this collection brings together beloved songs in a new form. Reimagined as Kizuna Re:mix arrangements, this soundtrack will carry you back to the world of Mega Man Star Force."
The compilation title includes all seven Mega Man Star Force series games, with new voice acting and online Bond Brother functionality. Quality-of-life features include a high-resolution visual filter, difficulty settings, and assist features. The gallery mode displays hundreds of images, while also including an in-game music player.
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is available for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. The Windows PC edition is on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
