Red Art Games posts Joe & Mac Retro Collection launch trailer
Red Art Games has posted the launch trailer for Joe & Mac Retro Collection. The compilation brings together Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja (1991), Congo's Caper (1992), and Joe & Mac: Lost in the Tropics (1994)—three 90s platformers developed by Data East.

All games are playable both in original Super Famicom forms and as Western localizations, with local same-screen co-op preserved on both Joe & Mac entries. Quality-of-life features introduced by the developers include rewind, save states, an optional CRT filter, and customizable aspect ratios.

A new Boss Rush mode lets players take on end-stage dinosaurs from all three games. As with Red Art Games' Super Bomberman Collection, the main menu includes a virtual gallery of boxes, manuals, and artwork.

In addition, a built-in music player allows access to the soundtracks, which are depicted as vinyl records spinning onscreen. Music is composed by Seiichi Hamada (Atomic Hanada), Seiji Momoi (Min-Key Momo), Takafumi Miura (N’Gja Miura), Tatsuya Kiuchi (T. Kiuchi), and Emi Shimizu.

The Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch ship from Red Art Games. Joe & Mac Retro Collection is also available for Windows PCs through Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
