Included is a gallery mode for viewing concept images, fan art, and playback of the funky and energetic electronic music. Soundtrack album DLC, composed by STEEL_PLUS, is planned for release later this month. The digital soundtrack is currently available for purchase via Bandcamp.
Composer and sound effects designer Keisuke Hayase, based in Chiba, Japan, describes the soundtrack as a "nostalgic but modern" fighting game score. The musician previously collaborated with Kenichi Arakawa on co-composing the Cotton Rock With You game score for Success, contributing under the artist name Hagane / steelplus.
Hyperfight 2 Original Soundtrack spans ten tracks, also available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music Unlimited, and the steelplus YouTube channel.
