Hitman: Codename 47 Original Soundtrack premieres on streaming platforms
Hitman: Codename 47 Original Soundtrack is now available through streaming platforms. The album includes nine compositions by Jesper Kyd from the third-person action-adventure game for Windows, developed by IO Interactive and published in 2000 by Eidos.

Laced Records of London published the Hitman: Codename 47 double vinyl soundtrack, premastered by Joe Caithness and decorated with original illustrations by Daniel Weisz. The vinyl soundtracks also ship from distributor PixelCrib in Australia.

Hitman: Codename 47 joined the GOG Preservation Program last month, bundled with HD wallpapers and digital manual. The Windows edition is also available through Steam.

From the Laced Records product page:
Hitman: Codename 47 was a relatively early score for Jesper Kyd, now a world-renowned, award-winning video game composer. It was as part of the European Demo Scene that Kyd first worked with the eventual founders of IO Interactive, going on to score their stealth-action debut. Despite the memory constraints of the DirectMusic system at the time, Kyd delivered a simmering combination of ambient and cinematic music. His signature sound of grand melodies set against groove-based electronica is in evidence here, especially in the hypnotic main title track.
