Publisher Square Enix pressed the The Far Edge of Fate: Final Fantasy XIV soundtrack as a Blu-ray disc six years ago. Excerpts of all tracks can be previewed on the album website and digital music store Ototoy.

The fifty-track soundtrack is largely composed by sound director Masayoshi Soken and series composer Nobuo Ueamatsu. Bonus conents include a FAN FESTIVAL 2016 Tokyo Special Live Performance, a piano arrangement by Keiko featuring vocalist Susan Calloway, and and a performance by Soken's band THE PRIMALS.

"The Far Edge of Fate: Final Fantasy XIV Soundtrack" is streaming on Spotify and YouTube Music. Cover illustration for the album is by Yoshitaka Amano. Lyrics are by Michael-Christopher Koji Fox.
