In Directive 8020, the crew of the colony ship Cassiopeia is stranded on a planet twelve light years from Earth, pursued by a deadly alien threat. Plot development is impacted by the "Turning Points" story tree, allowing players to rewrite history and change the course of the story, exploring hidden paths and leading to multiple possible endings.
The Original Soundtrack by Dead Space series composer Jason Graves has premiered on the musician's Bandcamp page. The atmospheric cosmic horror album spans twelve music tracks, streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
Directive 8020 is available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The Windows PC edition on Steam is verified for use with the Steam Deck.
