The adventure game explores the joy, sorrow, growth and struggle of an ordinary life. Paired with rotoscoping technology, the visual style is distinguished by the watercolor aesthetic of art director Taisuke Kanasaki, also featured in Another Code: Recollection.
Dear Me, I Was... is currently available for Nintendo Switch 2. A port of the adventure game is in development for Nintendo Switch, produced by Ryohei Endo and directed by Maho Taguchi.
