Kadokawa Corporation has announced a January release date in Japan for the Live Recording CD, treating 25 recent and classic Armored Core series compositions to orchestral arrangement. The two compact disc set will be housed in a three-panel Digipack, included with an eight-page booklet.
Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware Sound Team published the Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon soundtrack, streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. The eight-track Extra Tracks compilation includes background music, arrangements, and unreleased content.
FromSoftware director Masaru Yamamura commented during development that the score makes use of analog synthesizers for a classic science fiction feel. Composer Kota Hoshino, the bassist and vocalist of FreQuency, oversaw the creation of the soundtrack, collaborating with Takashi Onodera and Shoi Miyazawa.
The 47-track digital soundtrack is available through streaming platforms, courtesy of Bandai Namco Games. The album clocks in at two hours in length, available through Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
