Ape Escape Originape Soundtracks in a Box restocked
Cartridge Thunder has reprinted Ape Escape Originape Soundtracks in a Box, also shipping from distributor PixelCrib in Australia. All music is by FantaVision series composer Soichi Terada.

PlayStation platforming adventure game Ape Escape previously joined the PlayStation Plus Premium collection of classic game titles, enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. The Japan Studio title launched in 1999, among the earliest games to make full use of the DualShock controller's twin analog sticks.

The digital edition of the album is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited, published by Far East Recording.

Completing all of the aforementioned releases is this box set which includes four LPs, housed individually by a hardcover slipcase. This release contains every song from Ape Escape 1, except those available on Apes in the Net (licensing be damned). This release also includes one bonus song, previously unreleased anywhere else (including the game itself!).

The music on this box set was meticulously put together by Justin Perkins of Mystery Room Mastering. Using Mr. Terada's premastered source files, the music was completely and specifically mastered for vinyl.
