Real-time combat strategy game Aliens: Dark Descent for PS4 and PlayStation 5 joins the PlayStation Plus monthly games of December, today. The Xbox One and Series X|S edition is available with Game Pass.

Developed by Tindalos Interactive with Disney's 20th Century Games, the single-player action game is set two decades after the events of the movie trilogy. The players controls a squad of four colonial marines based on the moon of Lethe, waging battles against hostile Xenomorphs and the Weyland-Yutani Corporation's rogue operatives.

20th Century Soundtrack published the Aliens: Dark Descent digital soundtrack in October of 2023, composed by Doyle W. Donehoo. The composer told Screenrant. "I wanted to be as faithful to the original composers, Goldsmith, Horner, and Goldenthal, as I possibly could. They wrote the musical language for the Alien universe."

Aliens: Dark Descent is also available for Windows through Steam, published by Focus Entertainment. The 11-track digital album is streaming on Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
