Titled "Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy" in English-language regions, the aerial combat simulator for Nintendo 3DS is a remake of Ace Combat 2. The portable edition expanded the selection of player-controlled aircraft, added narrative elements by incorporating series lore, and adopted a more accessible control scheme modeled after Assault Horizon.
Music for the Original Soundtrack is by sound director Tetsukazu Nakanishi and music director Go Shiina, in collaboration with co-composers KAZ Nakamura, LindaAI-CUE, Ryo Watanabe, Rio Hamamoto, Tetsuya Uchida, Kanako Kakino, and Kohta Takahashi. Orchestral arrangements are by Wataru Hokoyama, Hironori Oosone, and Natsumi Kameoka.
