Localized for English-language regions as "Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy," the Nintendo 3DS aerial combat simulator is a remake of Ace Combat 2 with added aircraft, fleshed out narrative elements informed by series lore, and simplified aerial maneuvers inspired by Assault Horizon gameplay.
Music for the game is by sound director Tetsukazu Nakanishi and music director Go Shiina, in collaboration with co-composers KAZ Nakamura, LindaAI-CUE, Ryo Watanabe, Rio Hamamoto, Tetsuya Uchida, Kanako Kakino, and Kohta Takahashi. Additional music is by Wataru Hokoyama, Hironori Oosone, and Natsumi Kameoka.
The 61-track album is streaming on Apple Music. A region-restricted edition of the digital soundtrack is streaming on Spotify in Japan.
