Wayô Records published the officially licensed Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana soundtrack on vinyl, featuring 54 music tracks composed by Falcom Sound Team jdk. The vinyl edition ships on three blue marble records, with a sixteen-page booklet with character illustrations and exclusive bonus materials.

The digital soundtrack is streaming on Spotify and YouTube Music, published by Nihon Falcom. Holiday-themed arrangement EP "Christmas of Dana" is also available through streaming platforms.

Wayô Records' Ys VIII Music Box made its debut in 2018. Limited to one hundred units, the collector's item plays the main melody from Lacrimosa of Dana. A half-hour video previewing the vinyl release and a trailer for the music box can be viewed on the publisher's YouTube channel.

The action role-playing game is available for iOS and Android devices, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, published by NIS America. The Windows edition is hosted on Steam and GOG.com, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
