Added features include optimized controller support, contemporary aspect ratios, custom screen filters, and an interactive museum with never-before-seen developer interviews. Online gameplay supports co-op and competitive gameplay for up to six players.

Worms Armageddon launched for Windows in January of 1999 and is currently available through Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck. Sega Dreamcast, Sony PlayStation and Nintendo 64 ports followed later that year. The 15-track album digital soundtrack album, composed by Bjørn Lynne, is hosted on Bandcamp and streaming on YouTube Music.
