Wing Commander II - 35th Anniversary Edition published via Steam
This week, Electronic Arts released 25 classic PC games on Steam, GOG.com, and the EA App. The lineup includes restored Anniversary Editions of developer Origin Systems' Wing Commander I~IV and Wing Commander Prophecy.

Restored in collaboration with the dedicated online community and enhanced with quality-of-life updates, Wing Commander II: Vengeance of the Kilrathi - 35th Anniversary Edition features smoother and more responsive controls, with cloud saves and controller support.

The space combat simulator includes the original DOS title and the 1996 Kilrathi Saga re-release. Each incorporates community patches for optimal performance on current Windows PCs.

Score re-orchestrations and arrangement featured in the Kilrathi Saga was overseen by Paul Baker and George Oldziey. The original score was composed by George A. Sanger, Dana Glover, Martin Galway, and Nenad Vugrinec, with additional contributions by the Team Fat members, including Floyd Domino, David Govett, Herman Miller, and David Sanger.

The Wing Commander II / Academy Soundtrack (MT-32/CM-32L) is published via the Xeen Music Bandcamp page, available separately for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. A “Just the FAT” Edition, comprised music by George A. Sanger and his audio team, is hosted on the composer's Bandcamp page. Archival edition production for both albums is credited to Xeen Music.

From the GOG product page:
Many of you know me, George Oldziey, as the composer for several historic video games but most notably three games from the iconic 1990's Wing Commander series; Wing Commander 3 (Heart of the Tiger), Wing Commander 4 (The Price of Freedom) and Wing Commander; Prophecy. I've been blessed to have many dedicated fans of those games and my music from around the world. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of Wing Commander 3, my first game score.
