Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion launched in August of 2000, published by Acclaim Entertainment. The action-adventure first-person shooter features playable characters Danielle and Jospeh Fireseed.

Developed at Acclaim Studios Austin, formerly Iguana Studio, previous Turok series installments composer Darren Mitchell hired Nelson Everhart, soundtrack composer on the Nintendo 64-exclusive title. NightDive Studio's remastered port, verified for use with the Steam Deck, is currently available for Windows through Steam and GOG.com, as well as PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One consoles.

The Remastered edition utilizes the proprietary KEX Engine to provide a faithful restoration of the original, with gameplay presented in 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, adding high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting, and achievements. Everhart's soundtrack preview behind-the-scenes can be viewed on the composer's YouTube channel.
