An arcade game adaptation soon followed, titled Thunder Force AC, along with Super Nintendo port "Thunder Spirits." Sega Ages: Thunder Force AC is available for Nintendo Switch. Both shooting games were featured in the "Thunder Force Gold Pack 1 &2" compilations for Sega Saturn.
"Technosoft Music Collection Thunder Force III & AC," published by Sega's record label Wave Master, ships from CDJapan on two compact discs. Music is primarily by Tomomi Otani and Toshiharu Yamanishi, with two arrangements for the album contributed by Kei Takanishi. A crossfade trailer can be viewed on the Sega YouTube channel.

Rookie pilots need not fear though: this version also boasts save states and a Kids Mode to help you on your mission.
